The Kohler 100 Amp Transfer Switch connects a Kohler generator to your home's main circuit breaker panel. Designed for use only with Kohler generators equipped with the RDC2 generator set/transfer switch controller. The whole house transfer switch manages the source of power to your entire home. Under generator power, it also manages which prioritized heavy loads have power and which do not. The NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure is corrosion resistant and rated for indoor or outdoor installation. 

Kohler 100 Amp Transfer Switch

The Kohler generator's RDC2 controller continuously monitors the utility service. When it fails, the controller starts the generator and signals the Kohler 100 Amp transfer switch to change the power source from utility to generator. When the utility service returns, the RDC2 controller signals the ATS to switch back to utility service. The generator begins its shutdown cycle.
